Take the Illinois Leads survey
March 9, 2026 9:02 AM

Dear Students, Staff, and Faculty,

The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is launching its next strategic planIllinois Leads. We value your perspective, and there are three ways you can stay involved:

  1. Take the survey

Complete the strategic planning survey by March 27 to share your insights on the future of our university. The survey takes less than 10 minutes, and anyone who completes the survey may enter their name in a drawing for Illinois-branded merchandise.

  1. Learn about the process

Illinois is one of only a few universities positioned to lead every major social, political, and technological leap for the rest of the 21st century and the future of higher education itself. Visit the Illinois Leads website to learn about the strategic planning process and timeline.

  1. Stay engaged

Your feedback matters and will continue to shape Illinois Leads throughout the planning processQuestions, ideas, or additional comments can be shared at any time via strategicplanning@illinois.edu.

The survey is limited to one submission per person. Your input will help ensure the plan reflects the opportunities and experiences of our university community as we prepare to lead in a rapidly evolving higher education landscape.

On behalf of the Illinois Leads Steering Committee, thank you for participating in this conversation on what comes next for our university.

Sincerely,

John Coleman
Provost, Illinois Leads Steering Committee Co-Chair

Eva Pomerantz
Director, Center for Social & Behavioral Science, Illinois Leads Steering Committee Co-Chair
