Register to Vote: All In Big 10 Voting Challenge
Hello, Illini! Illinois is part of the All In Big 10 Voting Challenge and our goal is simple, register every eligible Illinois student to vote. Today is National Voter Registration Day and it’s easy to register to vote or check your registration. Every college student who is at least 18 years old and a US citizen is eligible to register to vote in the upcoming Midterm Election on November 8. Register to vote at illinois.turbovote.org with your school address or permanent/home address. You can also check your registration and receive election reminders. The deadline to register online in the State of Illinois is October 23. If you miss the deadline for online registration, you can still register in-person through November 8. If you are not eligible to register because of your age, Take the Pledge to Register to receive a registration reminder on your eighteenth birthday. In addition to making sure you are a registered voter, there are many ways to take action on National Voter Registration Day.
Exercise your power. Engage in the democratic process. Sincerely, Danita M. Brown Young |
