New Digital Accessibility Resources Available
Dear Faculty and Staff, Our university has a strong history of leadership in accessibility. As part of that commitment, we’re working together to improve digital accessibility across all online platforms. Our goal is to create inclusive, user-friendly digital environments for all while meeting the requirements of ADA Title II. The new Digital Accessibility website will serve as a comprehensive hub, providing guidance and resources that will support faculty and staff in learning how to create accessible digital content. The website features:
All university staff, faculty, and instructors who produce or manage digital content share responsibility for ensuring its accessibility. We are not asking you to become an expert, but we are asking you to engage with the available resources to help meet the ADA Title II requirements and contribute to a more inclusive university community. By working together, we not only fulfill our legal obligations but also create a digital environment where every member of our community can fully participate. Thank you for contributing to an inclusive environment and playing a key role in positioning our university as a leader in digital accessibility. Sincerely, John Coleman |
