Call for Nominations: Ninth Senate Review Commission

Dear Faculty, Academic Professionals, and Students,

The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Senate and the Senate Committee on Committees invite nominations for individuals to serve on the Ninth Senate Review Commission. The Commission is charged with conducting a comprehensive review of the Senate’s size, organization, structure, and operations. 

The Senate Executive Committee proposes a committee of 12 members, including: 

• Six faculty members (one chair and five additional faculty)
• Two student members
• Two academic professional members
• One administrative member
• Clerk of the Senate

The University Senate is scheduled to elect committee members at its September 15, 2025 meeting. 

Submit nominations online before 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 3, 2025.
