Revised 2025 Annual Security and Fire Safety Report available

Dear campus community member,

In September, we shared the 2025 Annual Security and Fire Safety Report with you. We would now like to inform you that we have since revised that report, and the updated version is available at go.illinois.edu/ASFSR. 

Revisions have been made to the arson statistics in the "On Campus Property" and "On Campus Student Housing Facilities" sections of the crime statistics on page 8. 

A printed copy of the report is also available upon request at the U. of I. Public Safety Building, located at 1110 W. Springfield Ave., Urbana, IL 61801, or by contacting us at 217-333-1216. You are also welcome to review the Daily Crime Log. 

To further enhance your personal safety, we encourage you to:

• Sign up for Illini-Alert text messages
• Familiarize yourself with campus safety tips
• Take a moment to prepare for emergencies
• Review sexual misconduct and violence resources
• Learn fire safety tips and procedures

By utilizing these resources, we can work together to maintain a safer campus, allowing our educational, research, and public service missions to thrive.
