Hello Illini!

From all of us here at Illinois Student Council, we would like to wish you luck on your midterms and a good spring break! This part of the semester can be hard for many, so please make sure you’re taking care of yourself! 

We are currently in the process of taking applications for the next group of Student Leaders in our campus. If you want to get involved in the newly renamed Illinois Student Government, we encourage you to apply within the coming weeks!

As Anjali and I’s time in this role comes to an end, the new administration will need a team to start building their vision for Illinois! Members of the Executive are chosen by the President and Vice President, and are responsible for the planning and implementation of ISG events and initiatives.

The Legislative Branch is the primary deliberative body of the Illinois Student Government. To facilitate its work and to help guide its decision making, the Legislative Branch is accepting applications for a Secretary, Parliamentarian, and Archivist, as well as committee Members At-Large.

The Judicial Branch is the system that keeps ISG accountable. It is composed of one Chief Justice as well as other Justices that hear cases of misconduct and provide recommendations of action to the Illinois Student Government.

Illinois Student Government is responsible for recommending qualified students to the following campus boards and committees:

• Chancellor's Special Events Advisory Committee 
• Commencement Committee
• Student Election Board
• Illini Union Board
• Illinois App Steering Committee
• Student Fee Advisory Committee
