Important Information About Your Drinking Water: Special Notice for Availability of Unregulated Contaminant Monitoring Data
The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign water system (ID# IL0195500) has sampled for a series of unregulated contaminants. Unregulated contaminants are those that do not yet have a drinking water standard set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The purpose of monitoring for these contaminants is to help the EPA decide whether the contaminants should have a standard. As a member of the campus community, you have a right to know that this data is available. If you are interested in examining the results, please visit the Facilities & Services Water Quality web page or contact the unit's Safety & Compliance division. The U. of I. is pleased to announce that all 29 unregulated contaminants required to be tested returned at less than detectable levels in April 2025. Sincerely, Jeremy Neighbors |
