Jobs.illinois.edu Has Undergone an Exciting Upgrade!
Dear Faculty and Staff, I am pleased to share that today Illinois Human Resources and our campus partners completed the two-year project to move to a new platform for posting vacancies and accepting applications. This has been a coordinated effort throughout the University of Illinois System as all universities and System Offices are implementing new platforms. We know that jobs.illinois.edu, our online employment site, serves as the “curb appeal” of inviting potential applicants to join the Illinois family and the site has undergone an exciting upgrade. Our new platform highlights the university and some of the great reasons to work here, has intuitive usability and is mobile friendly. This change brings more consistency to our hiring practices, as well as makes the application process shorter and easier to complete. As the university continues with Operational Excellence, this embodies the very principles established in this initiative. Employees access the posted job opportunities via a job board made exclusively for employees by utilizing your NetID and password. No new login and password to remember! This employee only job board features all job opportunities posted to our career site for applicants external to the University, as well as any job opportunities intended only for current employees. The new job board will continue to post more jobs as the week goes on. If you have not already done so, you can elect to receive email notifications of new posted opportunities, simply click on the “Sign Up for Job Alerts” on the site. This is a great way to stay informed of career opportunities here at Illinois. If you have any questions about the site, please contact us at jobs@illinois.edu. Sincerely, Shari Mickey- Boggs |
