Final days to donate to CCFD

Dear Colleagues,

As we enter this final week of the 2024 Campus Charitable Fund Drive, I want to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who has made a gift that will support others in our community.

This year’s campaign will close Thursday at 11:59 p.m. There is still time left to donate for those of you who want to join thousands of your colleagues and coworkers in making a gift this year by check, a direct gift or automatic payroll deduction.

I hope you will consider taking a few minutes to review how you can make a difference with your gift.

We have raised more than $1 million so far for organizations in our community and around the world that alleviate poverty and hunger, preserve natural areas, confront discrimination, prevent child abuse and work toward curing deadly diseases. That is an enormous accomplishment, and one that should make us all proud.

Thank you to the thousands who have already given, and my deepest gratitude goes to the unit and section leaders who have worked tirelessly to make this campaign a success. Time and again, you have shown that generosity, kindness and compassion are fundamental to how we deliver on our land-grant mission, and at the heart of what it means to be a member of the Illinois family.
