Dear staff and faculty,

I’m pleased to share the latest Illini Success Report, which reflects the post-graduation outcomes of our August 2024 – May 2025 bachelor’s degree recipients.

Among the key outcomes:

93% of graduates secured a first destination (employment, continued education, or volunteer service) within six months of graduation.
58% of graduates entered the workforce, 34% continued their education, and less than 1% pursued volunteer service opportunities.
91% of students participated in experiential learning, including internships, research, study abroad, and other hands-on opportunities that prepare them for life after Illinois.
Our university is by far the top choice for enrollment in graduate and professional school programs, reflecting that students find meaning and value in continuing their studies at Illinois.
80% of Illinois resident graduates remained in Illinois for their first destination, strengthening communities and contributing to our state’s workforce and future.

This year’s results reflect the collective impact of teaching, mentoring, advising, research and innovation opportunities, career preparation, and operational support happening across our university every day.

These outcomes are more than statistics, and they do not happen by accident. Whether you work directly with students, support our operations, or advance research and innovation, you contribute to Illinois’ continued leadership in developing the scholars, professionals, and community servants who will go on to build the future for generations to come.
