The Illinois Student Senate is excited to announce the opening of the 2011 Student Opinion Poll.  Topics vary to help gauge interests on specific initiatives and the status of opinions on key issues.  The survey will be available Monday November 28 (today) and close Monday December 19th at 11:59pm and is accessible at the following link: http://tinyurl.com/uiucstudentpoll.  Those who complete the survey will be entered into a raffle  to win one of many gift cards to the Illini Union Bookstore!


In addition, nominations are now open for the 4th Annual Teaching Excellence Award.  Please take the time to nominate a professor or teaching assistant who demonstrates dedication and excellence in the classroom at the following link: http://tinyurl.com/TeachingExcellenceAwards.  Nominations will close in January 2012.


Finally, I would like to personally invite you to join the Illinois Student Senate at the Illini Union for our Reading Day Study Break.  Join us on Thursday December 8 at 7:00pm through 9:00pm in the South Lounge for refreshments and relaxation!
