2022-2023 Illini Success Report

Dear Faculty, Staff and Students,

I am pleased to share this year’s newly designed Illini Success report, an annual review of the first post-graduation destinations of our 2022-2023 bachelor’s degree recipients. 

Highlights from the report include:

• 91% of our 2022-2023 graduates secured employment (56%), additional education (35%) or volunteer opportunities (<1%) within six months of graduation.
• 88% of graduates reported participating in experiential learning opportunities including internships, research, study abroad and more while at Illinois.
• 78% of Illinois residents secured a first destination within the state of Illinois.

These data points are certainly not the only metrics that define the success of Illinois graduates, but they are helpful indicators that a degree from Illinois is one of the best decisions a student can make for their education, career and life after graduation. I encourage you to explore the student success stories to learn more about the impact of an Illinois degree. 

I am thrilled to see our graduates succeeding at such high rates. And I am extremely grateful for the efforts from our faculty and staff who equip our students with transformational experiences for their next steps. I hope you will all join me in celebrating the success of our recent Illinois graduates.
