A recent modification to the 2012-2013 Academic Calendar http://senate.illinois.edu/ep0732.asp by the Urbana-Champaign Senate will impact the scheduling of the Fall 2012 final examination period. Final examinations will be scheduled Friday, December 14, 2012 through Thursday, December 20, 2012 including the scheduling of final examinations on Saturday, December 15, 2012.

Faculty, staff and students are reminded of the examination policies found in the Student Code http://admin.illinois.edu/policy/code/article3_part2_intro.html.  

Article 3 - Academic Policies and Regulations
Part 2. Examinations

The following regulations will be applied with the understanding that the University must reasonably accommodate a student's religious beliefs, observances, and practices in regard to the scheduling of examinations if the student informs his or her instructor of the conflict within one week after being informed of the examination schedule. These examinations include: evening, midterm, final, hourly, proficiency, and special examinations. Any student may appeal an adverse decision. (See '1-107(b).)
