May 11, 2022 4:05 PM

Dear Colleagues,

We invite you to participate in our survey on Experiences in Data Sharing with Illinois Governments. This survey is part of a larger exploration of Digital Government by the University of Illinois Springfield, the Discovery Partners Institute and the Institute of Government and Public Affairs.

We are examining how U of I researchers have structured their data sharing agreements with state and local governments in Illinois, satisfaction with those experience(s), and what aspects of the experience(s) were especially positive or negative.

The survey should take 20 minutes at most to complete and your participation in this study is strictly voluntary. Your responses will be kept anonymous. Researchers will not be able to link your responses to your identity. Please click here to access the survey: https://uisits.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_54Sc8KuDSnRk70W

At the end of the survey, you will have an opportunity to upload a copy of any data sharing arrangements that you have been a party to. If you have any questions about the research, please contact Dr. Kenneth Kriz via email at kkriz4@uis.edu. We encourage you to participate in our study. Thank you in advance for your time, consideration, and participation.

Sincerely,
Meg Bates, Discovery Partners Institute, University of Illinois System
Kenneth Kriz, University of Illinois Springfield
Molly Lamb, University of Illinois Springfield
Robin Fretwell Wilson, Institute of Government and Public Affairs, University of Illinois System
