Call for Faculty Nominations to the Search Committee to Advise the Chancellor on the Selection of a Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs & Provost

The Senate Committee on Committees is seeking faculty nominations to the Search Committee to Advise the Chancellor on the Selection of a Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs & Provost.

Please submit nominations no later than 11:59 pm on Friday, July 22, 2022.

Faculty Members (7-8):

The Senate shall elect five (5) faculty members with no more than two from the same college. Committee on Committees shall nominate at least 10 faculty members. If the five faculty members elected by the Senate do not include minority representation, including women, then the female faculty member receiving the most votes and in addition the minority faculty member receiving the most votes shall be added to the committee first, followed by the remaining three faculty members according to the vote, with no more than two from the same college.

The Chancellor shall appoint two or three (2-3) additional faculty members with consideration for increasing the number of colleges represented, and with one or more of whom may have an administrative appointment.
