2026-2027 Athletic Board Nomination: Faculty

To nominate yourself or a fellow faculty member to serve on the Athletic Board, please complete the online nomination form before 3:00 pm on Friday, March 27, 2026. 

The Athletic Board is responsible to the Senate for the intercollegiate athletic program related to the University's academic and educational objectives as defined by the Senate. The Board also serves as an advisory committee to the Chancellor and the Athletic Director on the financial management, personnel, and other operational aspects of the intercollegiate athletics (varsity sports) program in the Division of Intercollegiate Athletics. 

Eligibility requirements are listed at the top of the online nomination form. 

The Senate Committee on Committees will present a slate of four (4) faculty nominees for approval at the April 6, 2026 Senate meeting. The approved slate will be forwarded to the Chancellor for the appointment of two (2) faculty members.
