Illinois Student Council (ISC) is the university’s official form of student government, advocating for the betterment of our campus community with integrity and transparency. For this 2025-2026 academic year, we aim to advocate for students and see real, sustainable change happening on our campus. If this interests you, we have tons of opportunities ahead! Legislative Officers
Legislative Officers provide leadership and oversight of the Congress, including guiding committees and Student Representatives. While the Student Representatives elect the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Student Congress at the start of the term, the Secretary and Parliamentarian are selected via application and interview. Learn more about Legislative Officers.

At-Large Committee Members
At-Large Committee Members serve on one of the six Congress committees representing the student body's views. Each committee consists of two (2) At-Large Members.

Student Representatives
Student Representatives are selected by their respective colleges to represent students' interests and advocate for the betterment of the campus community.

Student Fee Advisory Committee
The Student Fee Advisory Committee advises the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs on setting the amounts of student fees, excluding the General Fee
