Greetings fellow Illini,

The Academic Senate's Committee on Committees is seeking to nominate interested students to serve on the campus Athletic Board.  The Athletic Board serves as an advisory committee to the Chancellor and the Athletic Director on the fiscal and operational aspects of the varsity sports program. The Board is also responsible for these programs as they relate to the academic and educational objectives defined by the Academic Senate.

At the March 25th meeting of the Senate, the Committee on Committees will present a slate of four student nominees. Upon Senate approval of the slate, the Chancellor will appoint two of these nominees.
