To the Campus Community:

As you may know, the weather forecast for the next several days is calling for as much as a foot of snow in our area, along with high winds and bitter cold. Facilities and Services requests your cooperation to help protect facilities by making sure exterior windows and doors are closed.

We will be monitoring the forecasts and be in touch with area emergency managers throughout the weekend to stay abreast of the situation.

If you haven't taken the time to read the campuswide email sent earlier today by Elyne Cole, Associate Provost for Human Resources, I would encourage you to do so. Her email is a reminder about policies and procedures regarding inclement weather.

We will use email to update the campus community regarding campus operations as weather conditions warrant. Please monitor local news media for updates as well, but official information will come directly from the campus to you via email and through other emergency communication channels as necessary.
