Fellow Students,

There are a lot of exciting events for you this week!

---

This Friday, October 3rd at 5:00pm the Illinois Student Senate (ISS) will be hosting a FREE concert on the quad, dubbed Illini Rock the Vote! There will be free popcorn and other possible freebies. Read more about the event here.

The ISS, in collaboration with the Illini Democrats, College Republicans, Illini Voter Coalition and League of Women Voters, will be registering you to vote for the major upcoming election on November 4th. So come out with your friends, hang out on the quad in this beautiful fall weather, and listen to some fantastic music to end the week and start your weekend.

Can't make the concert? Register to vote online! The State of Illinois now has online voter registration. Click this link to register.

We need your help to urge Governor Pat Quinn and Mr. Bruce Rauner to take to our stage and discuss the future of Illinois with the future of Illinois—the students. Watch this video that Lucas Frye, the Student Trustee, and I made to call on both gubernatorial candidates to engage with our campus and student leaders throughout the state on Tuesday, October 7th at 7:00pm in Foellinger Auditorium.

This is only possible through our collective engagement. Like, share, and tweet. Tell the candidates to take to our stage, the students' stage, and #LetsTalk.
