The Campus Student Election Commission (CSEC) is pleased to announce the start of the 2015 election season.  Voting will take place on March 4 and 5, 2015.

In addition to the campus-wide student referendum, the 2015 election incorporates the following student government positions:

• The Student Trustee from the Urbana Campus on the Board of Trustees
• Over 50 Student Senators
• 8 student members on the Student Organization Resource Fee Board

Students interested in running for any of the above positions must complete an online application and attend one mandatory information session.  Sessions, approximately one hour in length, will be offered on:

• Tuesday, February 3 – 7:00PM – 1000 Lincoln Hall
• Wednesday, February 4 – 6:00PM – Illini Union Pine Lounge

Links to the applications and the official election packet, which contains candidacy requirements, campaigning rules and the voting process, are accessible via the CSEC website: http://studentelections.illinois.edu/.  The CSEC website and the election packet also contain information on proposing a question for the student referendum.
