The regional electric grid has identified today as a peak electric consumption day due to extreme heat and increased energy demand.

All students, faculty, and staff are asked to conserve the usage of electricity on campus to the greatest extent possible, especially between the hours of 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.  Your help is greatly appreciated.

Conservation Recommendations
Shut off lights when not in use
Close windows in conditioned space
Unplug non-essential electronic equipment
Adjust thermostats to a more efficient setting
Turn off window AC units in unoccupied rooms
