Dear Colleagues,

As you know, President Tim Killeen is leading a university-wide strategic planning initiative to help set goals for our system for the next five years. Many of you attended his strategic planning town hall last fall at the Beckman Institute. He is scheduling another town hall to give you an opportunity to provide input and feedback on the initial draft plan, which is available at https://www.uillinois.edu/common/pages/DisplayFile.aspx?itemId=368936.

The town hall is on Mar. 14 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Deloitte Auditorium, College of Business Instructional Facility.

If you cannot attend but would like to follow the event remotely, the live stream will be available at https://www.uillinois.edu/strategic_plan/town_halls/.

For non-exempt civil service employees, participation in the town hall is an approved event, meaning that, if the meeting occurs during an employee’s regular work schedule, the employee may attend without loss of pay and without having to charge a benefit.

If you need accommodation services for this event, please contact Disability Resources and Educational Services at disability@illinois.edu.

If you’d like more information on the president’s strategic planning effort, please visit the website at https://www.uillinois.edu/cms/one.aspx?objectId=135477.

I hope to see you there.

Warm regards,

Barbara Wilson
Interim Chancellor
