Homecoming Week 2019 will take place Oct. 13-19, beginning with the 5K race and kick-off celebration this Sunday at the Alice Campbell Alumni Center. I encourage you to join in this annual celebration that brings our university and community together.  

There are a number of changes to Homecoming activities this year, including a new parade route, with President Emeritus Stanley O. Ikenberry serving as Parade Grand Marshal, and expanded events for our students and community members. See the Homecoming news release for more details about the changes. Illinois has been celebrating Homecoming for more than 100 years, and it is a wonderful time that our faculty, staff, students, alumni and community members come together to celebrate our collective story and impact. I hope to see you there.
