Dear Student:

The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Senate is seeking nominations for service on the 2024-2025 University Senate Committees. You do not need to be a senator to serve on a committee. Please click the following link to nominate yourself or a fellow student before the 12:00 pm deadline on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at https://forms.illinois.edu/sec/2200517. 

The Senate is a legislative body comprised of faculty, students, and academic staff from across the University. Senate committees are responsible for making decisions on educational offerings, student life, athletics, inclusiveness, information technology, financial affairs, admissions, and general university policies. Serving on a Senate committee can be an enriching experience that enables students to develop new partnerships, advance leadership skills, and become more engaged with the University.
