2023-2024 Illini Success Report

Dear Faculty, Staff and Students,

I am pleased to share this year’s newly designed and fully accessible Illini Success report, an annual review of the job, graduate program or volunteer opportunity data of our 2023-2024 bachelor’s degree recipients. 

Highlights from the report include:

• 90% of our 2023-2024 graduates secured employment (50%), additional education (40%) or volunteer opportunities (<1%) within six months of graduation.
• 91% of graduates reported participating in experiential learning opportunities, including internships, research, study abroad and more while at Illinois.
• 80% of Illinois residents secured a first destination within the state of Illinois.

These data points are not the only ways to measure the success of Illinois graduates, but they are indicators that choosing Illinois is one of the most valuable decisions students can make for their education, career and life after graduation. I encourage you to explore the student success stories to experience the voices of our students describing the impact of an Illinois degree. 

I am thrilled to see our graduates succeeding at such high rates. And I am extremely grateful for the efforts from our faculty and staff who equip our students with transformational learning for their futures beyond our university.
