Update: Windows Computer Issues

IT staff at Illinois have been working together to address issues impacting university-owned Windows computers as a result of the CrowdStrike software update early this morning. Resolving the issues has required hands-on technical support one computer at a time by your college- and unit-level IT experts. 

If you were able to access your Windows computer today as you usually do, then you are not affected. However, if you are experiencing a blue screen or your computer is trying to repeatedly reboot, you need to contact IT for support. As we go into the weekend, the Technology Services Help Desk is here to triage your support requests to get you to the right experts at your college or unit help desk as they are available.
