Chancellor search open forum this morning and portal available for additional feedback; website available for nominations

University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign faculty, staff, and students:

The campus community is invited to participate this morning in a focus group open forum with the committee that will provide chancellor candidate recommendations to President Tim Killeen. The session this morning occurs in Illini Union, Room 314A from 11:15 a.m. to noon.

This is an approved event for overtime-eligible employees, operations permitting and with prior supervisory approval.

There is also a webpage here that provides an additional avenue for providing your input to the search committee. The portal will be open through Tuesday, February 4.

Below the feedback section of the webpage, there is also a form to collect nominations (and eventually applications) for the position.

Please note that the site will be updated soon when the position description is available.

In addition to exploring the site for general information on the chancellor search, I invite you to consider sharing the link with individuals whose backgrounds and experiences align with the position description once it has been posted.
